What architects know that founders don't
The discipline is not in the drawing. It is in the refusal to draw too early.
An architect walks the site before touching a pencil. They study light, load, access, climate, constraint. The design emerges from understanding, not from inspiration.
Founders are trained in the opposite reflex: move fast, ship, iterate. Useful for a product. Dangerous for a company.
A company is built once and lived in for years. It deserves the discipline of understanding first.
